Upgrading from a 250cc to the Savage is big change.
I love it! I've had the new toy for a bit over one month
and have placed 1,000 miles on it. I feel bad about moving
on from my trusty 250 friend, but when I moved from a mostly
"flat-land" of Baltimore-Washington to the mountains of
NE Pennsylvania, my trusty friend just didn't have the "ummph".
The Savage just pulls me up those hills, what a motor!
This forum is a great source of information. A small
mirror-on-the-wand, as was suggested is just the ticket
for checking oil.
Quick question, does anyone know which FRAM filter will
fit the LS650? It is listed in the catalog index at a local
auto shop, but in the section which tells one which filter
to purchase, the LS650 is not mentioned.
Any hints?
